About Us

Seams Tribal is a story of transforming frustration into creativity, contribution, and community. I wanted to purchase an Achimota School T-shirt and could not find anything online that I both really loved and could get shipped from Accra to Karlsruhe, Germany. Frustrated, I decided to design a t-shirt, tank top, and a long sleeve shirt for myself. After I completed my designs, I decided to make a collection for my sisters, Ruth and Alberta (Ama). Then, to be fair to my other sisters, I created collections for St. Mary’s and Accra High, plus one for Aquinas, where I went for 6^th form.

Here we are today, with collections for several schools and a lifestyle collection that is the essence of Seams Tribal. The name represents that which binds us together: our ethnicity, our traditions, our values and our schools. In the end, I created designs that are simple but elegant. For me, it is important that you can order and receive your clothes on time anywhere in the world.
